The King and the Spider
A mighty king lost his final battle and fled to the forest.
He found shelter in a dark cave, feeling ashamed and useless.
As he brooded, he saw a little spider trying to spin a web.
Once, twice, thrice—it fell, only to climb back and try again.
Six times it failed, and on the seventh, the web stood firm.
The king blinked, as if the universe had whispered to him.
“If a spider doesn’t give up, why should a king?” he said.
He returned, gathered his loyal men, and fought once more.
Victory was his—not by strength, but by resolve.
