Boy Who Cried Wolf

Once, a mischievous shepherd boy tended sheep on a lonely hill.
Bored, he cried out, “Wolf! Wolf! A wolf is chasing my sheep!”
The villagers rushed up to help—but found no wolf.
The boy laughed at their worried faces.
He did it again the next day; again, they believed him.
On the third day, a wolf truly came.
The boy screamed louder than ever, “Wolf! Please help!”
But no one came. The villagers had stopped believing.
The wolf feasted, and the boy wept.
Moral: A liar’s truth falls on deaf ears.
